Lecturer on the Integrated Health and Social Care degree programmes at the School of Health, Nursing and Midwifery, University of the West of Scotland

Dr. Kirstin James joined University of the West of Scotland as a Lecturer on the Integrated Health and Social Care degree programmes in 2015. She has worked continuously as an occupational therapist since 1992. She has worked across the continuum of health, social care, and education as a clinician, researcher and now as a Lecturer. Dr James is also an active researcher, with a background in qualitative research methodologies. She has published in the areas of pain management for people with dementia, occupational therapy in emergency care, housing for people with dementia.
