Thank you for your interest in applying to the DBH program!

To be considered for degree seeking or non-degree seeking admission, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  1. Master’s Degree or higher from a accredited college or university with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 (B average) or better in the field of Behavioral Health or similar (Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy).* See Exception for Admissions policy in Catalog.
  2. Two (2) or more years experience in the Behavioral Health Field.
  3. Technological equipment and basic computer skills to be successful in our online Doctoral of Behavioral Health Program.

To be considered for degree-seeking admission, applicants must submit the following information and documentation. For non-degree seeking admissions information and application access, click here.

  1. Completed online degree-seeking admissions application form, including the following documentation:
    1. Copy of a government-issued ID
    2. Resume or CV
    3. Writing sample (Academic or Professional, written in the English language)
    4. Statement of Intent
      1. Respond to the following prompts in your statement:
        1. What about the DBH program aligns with your personal mission, vision, or values?
        2. What subjects or topics do you wish to focus on, while in the DBH program?
        3. Where do you see opportunities for yourself as a DBH graduate?
    1. Unofficial transcripts reflecting highest degree earned
    2. Official transcripts reflecting highest degree earned
    3. Contact information for four (4) professional references to provide a recommendation in support of your application (three (3) total recommendations needed)*
    4. If applying for transfer credit, unofficial & official transcripts
  1. Nonrefundable Application Fee ($50)**

** Waived for students eligible for Military Tuition. Documentation of military status is required during the application process.

Before beginning an application, please ensure that you have the following materials handy. You will be asked to upload them to the application:

  1. A copy of a Government-issued ID
  2. A copy of your DD-214 or Military ID (Military Applicants only)
  3. Unofficial transcripts for graduate degree work
  4. Unofficial transcript and prior institute’s catalog with course descriptions for any transfer credits evaluation
  5. Your resume/CV
  6. Writing sample (Academic or Professional, written in the English language))
  7. A Statement of Intent
